I have Kpowersave (0.6.2 ) running on on Debian etch, its running fine but in Weenydows the powermanager that was shipped with my Laptop can clock the cpu down to +- 660 mhz whereas Kpowersave stops at 800 mhz. This little difference is what need to get below +- 44°C where my Fan stops completely (ahh the sound of silence ) . I have a Pentium M 2000mhz ( ascer aspire 1694). Is there any way to get powersaved to clock my cpu down to 660?
