Took this for a spin,  and this is much nicer than all of the prep work
I was having to do previously to get a rpm built.

I have one comment on the patch...

(please post patches inline instead of attaching them, this way people
don't have to cut and paste the patch into their reply to comment on it)

I think this still needs to be /tmp/%{name}-buildroot.  In my testing the
rpm build failed when trying to create /powerpc-utils-buildroot.
