As part of my Debian stable kernel ppc64 rebuild project I have uploaded a Linux 6.12 kernel ppc64 rebuild from the Debian trixie distribution, current version 6.12.57-1.
(I may or may not continue to update the bookworm ppc64 Linux 6.1 kernel rebuild but short term I plan at least one more update.)
To install the new trixie stable kernel on your ppc64 system, follow directions to add the repository in https://sourceforge.net/projects/powerpc-linux-builds/files/debian-ppc64/linux/ and install the meta-packages 'linux-image-trixie-powerpc64' and (optionally) 'linux-headers-trixie-powerpc64': apt install linux-image-trixie-powerpc64 linux-headers-trixie-powerpc64
These metapackages will continue to track the latest builds for the trixie kernel family.
