    Hi Markus,

It seems like this and the next posting involve architectures,
with a great deal of emphasis on operating systems. Plug-
and-play, in particular, is a Microsoft driver standard that has
been around for years. Unfortunately, this has little to do
with PowerFolder, which has greater concentration on
business and everyday applications, not low level stuff.

In addition, architecture changes should be handled with
care. The current architecture is satisfactory, but, like most
software, will probably change with time. Likewise, if we
    continually chased the 'latest-and-greatest' architecture,
releases would never occur and would be detrimental to our
    user community.

Please contact me by email if I have interpreted this posting
    incorrectly.

    Thanks,

    Gary

    This topic is OS independent.
Let us talk about UPnP in the other
    request.
