#2 Segmentation fault

I tried installing powerd on a redhat 9 system and it won't
start I just get Segmentation fault. I have the same rpm
running on other RH9 systems and it doesn't do that on the
others.

what am i doing wrong? what can do to figure out why it's
not working?
