ALMOST every ham radio digital mode, and even when not operating digital, I use flog for logging and flrig for rig control. Almost certainly THE most useful ham radio software for Linux, and hey it's cross platform so I can reccommend it to my Mac / Win buddies too :-)

Thanks to the large and devoted developer community, a very flexible and powerful HTPC SW.
I have used it for 10 years, since briefly trying MS WMCE 2005 and finding MediaPortal (MP) far superior. I also briefly tried the WMC version included in Win 7 Pro but found it still sorely lacking in comparison to MP. Now that MS has discontinued MC completely, MP is more relevant than ever.
