1) Support for credit card machines (not sure if possible): of course it's possible to drive a card reader but unfortunately I can't get access to those machines and/or that documentation from banks/Ingenico, because in Italy/Europe everything is secret if you're not in the circle.
So I was working on a payments framework that would allow to plugin support for many forms of payment, especially mobile payments.
2) Support for all wireless printers: it's scheduled https://sourceforge.net/p/posxp/issues/6/
3) Support for all customer displays: all customer displays on the market seems a bit unrealistic. The app already supports 2 customer displays https://sourceforge.net/p/posxp/wiki/help/#customer-display Other customer displays compatible with the ESC/POS standard which is the most used will work as well.
4) Ticket printing: can you be more specific maybe with an example of what you mean with this?

When I mean ticket printing, it is just prints tickets on a reciept.
I have seen some POS softwares run iZettle but i am still confused how this would be implemented.

You would need an usb-to-serial adapter, the only serial adapter supported by the app is the FTDI one and then I would need to add support for it in the app and maybe it would work...
I suggest you to search for a used Epson DM D110, they are quite cheap:
-please add the option to import/export stocks or items from excel, or an option to add items in bulk
-add a pin or password to reset the journal
-stop the cash drawer from opening when taking payment by card( or option to turn off)

Adding all the stock items can take really long time, for example I had over 2600 items in my old pos System, but it can import and export items in excel form to make adjusting prices easier.
If you can add the option to Import/export (backup/restore) Items in bulk, then users can easily switch from other pos systems to posxp very easily
