Hello, The Posxp system has been good, however I am having trouble printing or copying and pasting my stock or inventory information. In addition, it seems like I cannot export my stock or inventory data or information to my computer. The only data or information I'm able to export to my computer is from Journal but not Stock (inventory info). I have attached a photo of what I can not export, print, copy, and paste which is again the stock information. I have my POSXP in Spanish, so Stock will appear...

There was an old desktop application, but if you bought the app you must have the new one. The help section is here https://sourceforge.net/p/posxp/wiki/help/ and you should see a screen like the one in the help section. Unfortunately I can't help you in this way, if you want we can arrange a teamviewer session on your machine, I can't do more than this. Please email me by clicking on the Report a Bug link in the About section inside the app settings.

ive downloaded another POS software and it works ? not sure why it's not working on your software is there another download that needed to be done I've purchased this app twice already but still not working I've looked at the help section on the website, but it looks like an older version as my screen looks different.

What do you mean with "edit screen"? You can't edit anything in the Plugin box...

I'm sorry but I don't know what the problem could be. Try a factory reset by following these steps: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49513286/how-to-reset-epson-tm-t88v-to-the-factory-factory-settings If that doesn't fix the problem the best way is to contact a local Epson dealer, they can give you support usually for free.

I've selected the vendor mode, but it still doesn't show up in the devices box its also telling me that its "offline or receive buffer full" on the printout.

I see what you mean, unfortunately is not possible to personalize the payout line text neither to add a text line after a payout line. You can try to put a payment with the text "Pricepool Payout" it will printed in the bottom of the receipt or you can use product refunds...

Hey @alberto. I mean, like you can Insert a Fee for a Tournament and a Fee for the Pricepool and if someone wins the Turnament that you can set a Payout with the Text: Pricepool Payout for example. Greetings from Dortmund eSports!

Hi, you can export to CSV from Excel. I'm not sure what you mean about the second question: you can always set a manual amount for a payout; you can't put a payout inside a speed button. Hope it helps

If you don't know hot to open the charms bar see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bVoVrYv-RQ Tap Settings on the charm bar while on the journal page and then tap Options. Press the Reset Daily button to clear daily reports. This will also delete the documents report and the ability to view and print any old document. Press the Reset Total button to clear total reports. This will delete everything.

Hi, I'm afraid but unfortunately this is not possible. If you have a backup, an export or a print you can use that. I should insert a confirmation dialog to avoid this situation. Regards

First of all, congratulations on the program. As simple as it is practical and useful. The only problem I encountered is the inability to import the entries of an excel or cvs file. I run a tobacconist's and I would use the program only as a calculator with a barcode reader. Hi, sorry for late response but I didn't receive the notification. there was a bug introduced in version 1.14.28 and fixed in 1.14.29. https://sourceforge.net/p/posxp/wiki/changelog/ Please make sure you have the latest version 1.14.29, you can check the app version by going in Settings -> About. If you don't have the latest version go to the Microsoft Store app and manually check for updates. Then try to make a backup from a 1.14.29 and restore it. If you still have problems let me know. Hi, If I remember correctly this problem was present in Windows 8.1 and was due to the fact that you have a small screen for example a 8 inch display of a tablet. Try to put the device in landscape (horizontal) orientation so that it is wider and the Settings button should be displayed. If you can, I also suggest to update the device to Windows 10, because the Windows 10 version of the app has many new features! And it works better overall. As you can see from the change log the Windows 8.1 packages...

Probably not. But you can try to attach any printer that supports the ESC/POS language which is the most used protocol and was introduced by Epson. If you want to try to use an ESC/POS compatible printer follow the same instructions for Epson printers and see if it works: https://sourceforge.net/p/posxp/wiki/help/#printer

The back up and restore seems to wipe out the stock. If I back up the data and then restore, The stock is empty. Am I doing something wrong?

I was able to find a workaround, now every non-printable character on Epson printers will be mapped to an empty space instead of a ?. I released an update (1.14.28) that includes the above fix. See the changelog. Your app will be updated automatically in the next 24 hours. You can see the version you're running in any of the settings pages, on the About tab.

Having no symbol would work the best. Everyone will know it is in colones. I am a newbie at this point. If you guide me to where I can change the ? to white so nothing shows, I will try to figure it out. Jerry

Unfortunately the colon symbol is not available in any code page, so you need to create a bitmap of it and upload it to the printer. Basically what you need to do is to remap the ? character to a custom defined character you design pixel by pixel. You can also remap the ? to a completely white char thereby removing the ?. After that you need to select the user-defined code page which is 255. You can easily create a custom character and select the user-defined code page by using the TM font runner...

How is your Windows language configured? Please go to Control Panel -> Clock and Region -> Region In the window that opens click on Additional settings... and then on Currency Please post a picture of those 2 windows like the one I attached here

I have the Epson TM'T20ll and I want it to either print the Costa Rican colon symbol ₡ or better yet no currency symbol. I know the printer needs to be reprogrammed. I just don't know where to start. The program displays the symbol with the Spanish language setting, but prints a ? on the receipt. Jerry

Hi, the Windows 10 system requirements are enough to run this app, I can't see any specific requirement. More RAM than the minimum 1Gb would be better but I guess on the market the minimum RAM you can find is well above that. I suggest to concentrate more on the interfaces, make sure there is at least a USB port, bluetooth, Wifi of course. Unless you need a tablet for a specific use (like a small screen tablet for thekitchen) I suggest a 2-in-1 like the Surface Go. https://www.microsoft.com/en-u...

Your app is probably in the 7 days trial period, when this period will end you need to buy the app. There are no difference between the trail period app and the full app.

Alberto, thank you so much for the fast and complete response. I realize now that I want the side dishes to have a one cent value. Otherwise they won't show up in the sales report. It will be important to keep track of which side dish the customer chose for their combo. Also, I saw a reference to a premium version. Can I purchase a premium copy or donate to your effort? Jerry

Depending on what you want to achieve you can use text lines or add some transactions with discounts to make a combo package speed button. In the pizza sale example the toppings show as zero value. When I try to add a stock item without price, it doesn't show up on the sales ticken. Our sides are included in the combo package so they need to show up without a price. Jerry
