As committers may have noticed, sourceforge team is upgrading all the project, beginning at April 22nd. They say that they're not sure when specific project are upgraded and how long each upgrade takes. Here's an announcement: http://sourceforge.net/blog/upgrades-april22/ Again, details of the upgrade will be found at: https://sourceforge.net/p/upgrade/ Important point is the change in URLs for the code repositories. I do hope that URL of the project page is not changed. I tested an upgrade with one of my project "pglesslog", which is now inactive and does not have any major impact. The result is: 1. Repo URL changes. Wow, we can use https to handle git! 2. Web site URL seems not to change, 3. Project URL seems not to change, 4. Appearance of the administration page is completely new. 5. SSH interface will be provided, as well as SCP, RSYNC and others. So the impact seems to be minor but I'd like to write to sourceforge to delay the upgrade until the end of June for 1.1 release just in case, or upgrade "now" to avoid any problems after the feature freeze. Any inputs? --- Koichi Suzuki |

Even with that, I don't think that their services will gain users from the github community though ;) -- Michael |

Yes, it is important that the upgrade doesn't happen at an unexpected time aka while we are in the midst of releasing next release. It will be great if they can schedule our upgrade after June.
