[Postgres-xc-general] what happens to pgxc and transition to xl

Hi,

In the past we  had used postgres-xc to successfully
scale our workload which mostly consisted of simple
filter-join-groupby expression.
All this required some careful data distribution strategies but on
average we were
able to extract good performance.

 We tested our workloads with XL and the performance, at least for our
workload, was
 not at par. In this regard, I was wondering what is the future
direction of XC.
 If it is shelved, then shouldn't there be a way to match the
performance in XL given
 that XL has more generic framework compared to XC.
