Gee! I forgot to respond to this. If we read from only one datanode slave, it should be easy. If we need to read from more than one datanode slave (for example, in the case of distributed tables or in the case of replicated tables replicated to different slave), we need to synchronize the time stamp of the database among involved datanode slave to get consistent result.
