There is a "password" plugin.

It can update a password via an SQL query. If you are using:

$CONF['encrypt'] = 'md5crypt';

you can put:

$config['password_db_dsn'] = 
'mysql://postfixadmin:longandverycomplexpassword@localhost/postfixadmin';
$config['password_query'] = 'UPDATE mailbox SET password=%c WHERE 
username=%u LIMIT 1';

in plugins/password/config.inc.php

it worked at least with the debian postfixadmin package and the last 
roundcube version.
