Fixed in SVN r1020 and deployed to postfixadmin.sf.net. Thanks for the
report!
Note: update-check.php is intended for stable versions (it will never
recommend betas etc.), therefore the solution I implemented simply removes
everything except numbers and dots from the given ?version=. This means
"2.3beta" will be seen as "2.3" by the script.
And BTW: If you are still using 2.3beta, you should really upgrade to
2.3.3 ;-)
