I'm quite sure the failing domain (yy.com) is not resolvable in your 
nameserver. Please create an DNS entry for it (you'll need it anyway if 
you want to receive mails on it) or set 
$CONF['emailcheck_resolve_domain']='NO'


Note to myself and GingerDog (whoever is faster):
This starts to become a FAQ - we should really display a separate error 
message on DNS failures.
