Hi Guys

I have discovered a bug... Lets assume you have a one domain system and your domain is "google.com".... If you set the following config in "config.inc.php"

CONF['vacation_domain'] = 'google.com';

Now any time you try to create a new mailbox/alias or anything associated with that domain, the email address will be "invalid" and will fail the regular expression in "functions.inc.php"

function check_email ($email) {}

I believe this is happening where you strip the vacation domain from the input - this causing an invalid domain name, thus email address.

As a fix, I have used a "dummy" vacation domain name = but I would like it to be genuine - if this is all possible.

Thanks

cben

    This is not a bug, your configuration is wrong ;-)

    The vacation domain must be a separate domain, for example "autoreply.google.com". If you use one of your "normal" domains ("google.com"), you'll get lots of trouble, starting with postfix's transport maps. See also VIRTUAL_VACATION/INSTALL.TXT.
