Soon there will be a new release of postdisplay. The release will include a kernelmodule and userspace client-programs to feed the module with CPU and Memory data. New documentation will also be available. If you are interested in the new functionalities you can always find the latest code in the CVS repository.
Just wanted to step by an say that the project is still alive, even though I haven't updated alot in the past few months. Im getting ready for a new release.
BTW My 'puter is up an running again (fixed it a couple of months ago)
A couple of days ago my computer broke...
And the funny thing is that my postdisplay shows nothing...
Thats right... my $100 casemod just gives me the silent-threatment. Guess that is what they call ironi. Im currently trying to build a computer from spare parts I found im my room but it seems that most of them are broke or just not good enought. Hopefully I will be able to work on the project meanwhile im waiting for a new computer for christmas present :)
Take a look at the webpage.... there you can see a picture of my POSTdisplay when im concatenating a file to the driver.
Ok, currently im writing the docs and when im done I will publish the tiny tiny kernelmodule package. I haven't written a client yet but im working on it. The client will probably output stats like CPU usage, current logins. If you have any special requests, like how many burgers i've been eating today or something similar, then just send me a piece to patrik@jakobsson.org
