Yep, in Leopard, Apple changed out some of the tools we used for the installer. This doesn''t affect the client (if you download the OpenMFG demo client, for example, and connect to a database here), and it also isn''t a factor if you install PostgreSQL the old-fashioned way yourself. But it is a limitation for running the Installer on Leopard for now. We''ll have a new installer before too long - but in the meantime, if you want to run everything local on one Leopard machine, you''ll need to build PostgreSQL from source.
