When initializing the database, first, you may want to look in a way to get that done interactively from the startup window... my 2 cents. 8-)
Anyhow, looking at the statements in that file, it mentions a user named 'admin'. That user does NOT exist in my Postgres list of users (when I do \du) and thus assigning ownership to some functions and tables to the 'admin' user will always fail.
Was that ownership supposed to be mfgadmin instead?
Running the quickstart.backup file from version 3.0.1 generated 16 errors when run in Postgresl 8.2.7
