Rodney are you using IE6? if so you may need to add your URL to the trusted sites - I have seen this a few times with IE on different systems. I install phpNuke 5.5 and it works like a charm. HOWEVER... when I install PostNuke .713 it gives the appearance of working, except for you can not logon as anyone, or create any accounts. The admin account created during the install is there. (Also have installed this on a Linux service with the same versions of php and MySQL and it works fine and I can not see they have the same php.ini settings) When I logon as the admin account it says it is logging me and "hang tight" then it takes me back to the home page with the logon prompt again. The online block says that there is one member logged in now, but it does not really give me member access. Also every time I click on any link the guest count goes up by one for each click. Every time I try to login as a member the member count goes up my one for each try. I know my php and apache are configured correctly because the phpBB2 and phpNuke working fine. postInfo() works fine as well. I have searched the net looking for an answer, and since there seems to be no dedicated POSTNUKE forums, (but a lot of dedicated phpNuke ones) So I am going to try to posting this here. Please if there are any PostNuke Guru's out there who can help figure this strange one out please respond...
