[Post-nuke-users] get rid of "read xx times"?

Hi

can anybody give me a hint in which file I can get rid of the "read 
xx times" note, when displaying news-Module?

I searched through modules/News/index.php but there is no "_READS" 
statement ....

And btw, if someone has a hack to get rid of the "posted by..", 
"written by.." and "date" statements in the search-results it would 
be very fine to post me a link or the hack itselfs, this would safe 
me some time :-)
