[Post-nuke-users] Just about ready to give up -- help

Thanks to those who tried to help with my earlier Postnuke set-up
questions. I'm afraid things are still going badly.

Current set up: Win2k box with the windows postnuke kit downloaded and
running in C:\phpdev. For those of you unfamiliar with it, this kit
comes preconfigured -- just start running Apache and MySQL as services
using the enclosed BAT files, and you should be off and running.

But I'm not.

Apache is running. MySQL and PHP are running. But attempting to bring up
admin.php or index. Php gets a title bar in the browser, a lot of fake
IP activity (as measured by Zone Alarm, which "sees" the apache server
trying to work" but no page ever comes up.

I'm grateful to anyone who can offer any suggestions. I'm using the
slimmed-down version of my.ini, and the paths in it are correct.
