or will it be compatible in the near future? thanks.
Yes Posh is compliant with a lot of Google Gadget.
I can't use the google gadget :(
There seems to be a problem with the parameters.
For example, if I add http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=www.gstatic.com/ig/modules/wikipedia/wikipedia_v2.xml, I can't specify language anywhere.
So, when I click on search button, it goes on
(in the url there is UNDEFINED instead of the language)
The same thing for other gadgets that I've tried.
This gadget do not use widgets setting to define the language (in iGoogle, the language is not define in the settings), but I guess use a library to match the widget language with the portal language. This process is indeed not yet developed in posh.
hmmm ok. But even if there isn't a language parameter, I can't use any gadget, for example http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=www.gstatic.com/ig/modules/youtube/v3/youtube.xml
Actually, I did not spend too much time on iGoogle widgets, since iGoogle will be closed on nov'13
But it is possible to get the source code of the gadget, and to debug it. Most of the time, this is easy to make it work on posh.
Last solution, an open social plugin is available in Posh. This make the Google Gadget more compliant, but I have not tested this plugin for a long time.
Open social plugin? Do you mean API Portaneo?
I couldn't create a working widget in any way :(
