Unfortunately, YouTube changes their method of video delivery too often for me to keep updating PortablePictures with fixes. I haven't had time to do any work on the project in a very long time, so I think it's safe to say that I am stopping all development on PortablePictures until further notice. I will leave the project's website up for anyone curious to look at the code, but let it be noted that the software DOES NOT WORK anymore. If anyone comes across this and wants to take over development, just let me know.
I have decided to switch from using the CVS repo to Subversion, simply because I feel it is better supported. Hopefully, this won't cause too many problems with people looking at the CVS repo and wondering why it's so messy and out of date! So remember: use the SVN from now on!
Another Pre-Alpha release. This release corrects a change in YouTube's method of serving videos.
I managed to schedule another block during my school day as an independent study, meaning I will have plenty of time during the next two months to work on Portable Pictures!
Due to some changes in my school schedule, and the fact that Portable Pictures has made some great progress over the last few months, I will not be able to devote as much time to developing Portable Pictures. The last semester of my senior year is really eating into my time, but rest assured that every minute of free time I have will be spent continuing to add functionality to Portable Pictures.
I know the website says that a new file release will be up, but I won't have time to actually build and upload the binary until tomorrow. Hang in there!
