[Popfile-announce] Problems under Linux

I have a dual-boot system: Windows 98 and Linux; I also have access to 
the log files on the mail server.  Under win98 popfile works grandly 
using Netscape and Outlook Express.  However, under Linux I can't get 
mail under Netscape or KMail.  The log from the mail server shows:

ipop3d[23479]: Command stream end of file while reading line user=???

when trying to get the email under Linux.  It doesn't appear to be 
sending the user name.  When using popfile from Win98 the server log 
does show the correct user name.

Anyone else have it working under Linux and/or have any suggestions?
