Hi - and thanks for an extraordinarily able tool, judged
on results of 2 weeks mail training. Fully appreciated
that your team has been willing to produce a Windows
installer. Will contribute, naturally.
I prefer to use Eudora rather than Outlook where
possible. While appreciate your prior comment dug up
in forum on this, as an old salt I have to doubt
Qualcomm will change Eudora or any time soon, and
this is too good a tool to make difficult for the many who
could otherwise use it.
Why not make config easier for everyone, and
workaround for Eudora or other faulted email programs
at same time, since you have provided this nice web
user interface? An alternate method for specifying mail
servers could be a page for mapping POP3 username to
server url.
With this at least in most cases, new user config would
be even easier, and valuably without changes within the
email program. Where username can't be unique, well,
a person reverts to your colon-separator coded method.
Can this or variation be reasonable enough?
Best,
NarrBL

If I understand well you are referring to the problem where you
need to do SMTP authentication and Eudora forces you to
use the same username as POP3 which has been changed
to work with POPFile and hence it fails.
I like the idea of mappings between user names and servers
and we will get to something like that when we support
multiple users.

Sounds just right, and thanks. Will look forward to it.
Thanks again for making openly available a spam solution
that wholly works.
Best & regards,
