Close but no cigar, I'm afraid ;)
Back in February we agreed to switch to ActivePerl 5.8.8 Build 820 so I updated the installer to use Build 820 which has some different Perl dependencies but RC2 was built using 5.8.8 Build _819_ so things don't work properly.
Looks like it would be a good idea include some build-time checks into the installer to catch this sort of problem.
You can download and test 0.22.5 here:
http://popfile.sf.net/popfile-0.22.5RC2.zip
http://popfile.sf.net/popfile-0.22.5RC2-windows.zip
This contains all the latest installer changes from Brian and updated Perl and related modules. Test away!
John.
I've tried RC2 on Windows XP Pro SP2 and found 2 problems.
#1 When I access the POPFile UI, POPFile stops.
The new version of HTML::Template requires Scalar::Util and
Scalar::Util requires List::Util. This modules is not included
in the POPFile package.
#2 The installer can't find http://getpopfile.org/ssl-patch/0.22.x.pcf
When I choose to install the SSL module, the installer will
try to download http://getpopfile.org/ssl-patch/0.22.x.pcf but
the file is not found.

I thought John was going to create the directory and put the files there (and I guess he thought I was going to do that).
I've had some computer trouble recently and have been without developer access for many weeks (at least that is my excuse).
