It seems that the current version of the IO::Socket::SSL (v1.07) is compatible with the recent version of minimal perl (which is included in POPFile 0.22.5 RC4 or later).
On v0.22.5 RC5, I remove 'SSL.pm' from %POPFILE_ROOT%\lib\IO\Socket and rename 'SSL.pm.bk1' (v1.01) to 'SSL.pm', then POPFile still works.
And, I download the current version of IO::Socket::SSL (v1.07) from CPAN and replace 'SSL.pm' with the current version. POPFile is still working.
I think we don't need to downgrade the IO::Socket::SSL module now.
