The program would look through all the received headers and query them with the DNS server at sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org and if it returns a 127.0.0.2-6 address you've got a spam!
POPFILE could then mark the email as Spam.

If we had a SBL/XBL module for POPFILE then we could get POPFILE to check if an email is comming from a know list of Spammer and Trojan/Worm servers.
This is said to correctly identify 98% of Spam.
