Are these messages totally blank with no headers and no
body? Or do they just have no body?

If they have nothing at all, it is likely your antivirus.
If your antivirus finds a virus in email, it could be
quarentining that email which leaves POPFile with a blank mail.

There are also spams that have no body and probably few
headers. These may be errors by the spammers. But whatever
they are, POPFile has trouble classifying such short mail
because there just isn't enough information. There have
been some discussion about improving that, but no conclusions.
