historically (and still be lots of databases) these are used for "anything which dimerizes.I have been removing them slowly and making "subunit composition" annotation instead.

Most of them will pop out of the matrix intersects.....
Should ask for a comment about this to be added to the GO term (I would even propose obsoletion, as it is used  incorrectly the majority of the time)
