If I have to add a gene to a session after I've started adding alleles to a genotype*, the alleles I've already added to the genotype get lost. I can work around it by finishing the genotype, adding genes, and then going back to edit the genotype, but it's a lot of steps and faff. Could added alleles be preserved so we can just go back and resume adding more once new genes are in the session?

  • i.e. step-by-step:
    1) Go to "add a genotype", and add one or more alleles.
    2) Notice that you need another gene(s). Click the "add more genes link" and add. Continue ...
    3) Swear at the screen as you realize you have to start over because the allele(s) from step 1 have vanished.

Inconvenience rather than show-stopper, but one that's likely to annoy community users.
