I don't know where these go; I don't think I've ever seen one.
But it seems like they should be shown somewhere on the publication details page (http://curation.pombase.org/pombe/view/object/pub/6645?model=track) rather than the curation session page, because a comment made at triage time would apply to the paper rather than to the curation session.

I think I have generally wanted to add comments which would be useful for the curator. Often I think I could add something for the community curator to see, where they might encounter a problem.
Like:
"We notice that you characterise a domain in this paper, you can supply the coordinates to us in the free text form at the end of the submission, or submit this information directly to helpdesk@pfam.org
"This paper appears to contain low throughput data and a phenotype screen. Please curate the low throughput data in Canto but you can supply the phenotype data from the screen in the spreadsheet format described here: http://www.pombase.org/submit-data/phenotype-data-submission-form "
"These are new phenotypes which are not currently in FYPO. You will need to contact us to request new phenotype terms to curate this paper"
etc
I don't know if there are other types of triage comments (I think this only means "a comment added during triage". If there are likely to be triage specific comments which we do not want the curator to see, maybe we need 2 comment boxes, one for
traige comment (hidden)
curation hint comment (visible at the top of the curation session)

There is an option during triage to add a comment, but I don't know how/where to view them
For example there is one for this session:
Priority: 3 --> 2

Sorry, the comments are a bit hidden. If there is one you'll see it in the "Publication properties" section on the publication details page. eg.

I can't see a triage comment for 8c93e982d786b7ce.
seems like an ok place for 'em
(tho that particular example is a bit odd)
