#561 Table loading is slow - especially the publication tables
Loading the all publications table is very slow:

It just took 31 seconds to load for me. That's no fun when you're using the next and previous links a lot.
It shouldn't be that slow, so find out where the slow down is and fix it.

I'm going to lower the priority of this because there isn't a quick fix.
It will speed up a bit if we remove some columns. If there are any you don't need, let me know.
The other thing I should have said was that the "all publications" table is by far the worst. If you can get what you need from one of the other publication lists, it will be faster.
