I have updated one annotation using the db_xref to check that it loads.,

/product="Rho family GTPase Rho3"
/systematic_id="SPAC23C4.08"
/controlled_curation="term=modification, far
db_xref=PB_REF:0000001; date=19700101"

this is the first annotation in
http://curation.pombase.org/dumps/latest_build/logs/db_xref_problems.txt
should disappear.

After this, we probably need to open a corresponding jira ticket to ensure that the PB_references.txt file is read ?

    jira ticket also Mark needs to generate a html page for the db_xref to link to.

    Anyway, M will open a jira ticket when advised.

    I just checked, the PB_REF:0000001 is stored in Chado now. I'll need to have a chat to Mark about how it's stored.

      Not yet, because I've been hoping Mark will answer my question (on the pombase-internal list) about whether he can deploy a page-generating thing like GO does for the GO_REFs. I suppose I could give up waiting any old time, and open a ticket asking for it ...
