Hi, I have been using Polo for a couple of years now and thought it was about time I provided some feed back, this is mainly prompted by a niggly fault that I have found. The problem is that if a path name has more than one space in it, it gets saved into the recent file list with additional spaces. This means that the file cannot be opened from the recent file list. For example: "C:\Projects\SOD Soft Tools\PSD Scanner\xmlminer\Rules\61epsd-7e.xsl" This path name has one space in it and does not cause any problems being recalled from the recent file list. "C:\Projects\SOD Soft Tools\PSD Scanner\xmlminer\Rules\Test Rules\combine-icms-psd-xml.1b.xsl" This path name has two spaces in it and it appears on the recent file list like this: "C:\Projects\SOD Soft Tools\PSD Scanner\xmlminer\Rules\Test Rules\combine-icms-psd-xml.1b.xsl" The same problem occurs when opening an xml file and then choosing another schema display specification from the drop down list. Once again if the path name has more than one space in it, the drop down list has a path name with more than two spaces in. fortunately in this situation once a path has been selected it can be edited so that it has the correct number of spaces. I realise that the simple answer would be to remove all spaces from the path names, but really the application should be able to handle this and I'm sure it should not be a difficult problem to resolve. I would appreciate it if this could be fixed. If you are interested there are some other changes I could suggest let me know if you are interested. Hi, there is no option to control this. I guess it should be rather easy to do this, but I can't look into it myself. Best regards. When elements with attributes are displayed, the attributes and their values are shown next to the element name in the "tree view" area and they're also listed down below in the area where you actually can modify their values. Is there a way to prevent the display of the attributes up top and have them only display in the lower "editing" area? Having each element show all its attributes up top seems to clutter the display. We'd rather have the user only see the elements, and then click on the elements to view the list of attributes down below. Thanks. |

hello, as the list seems to be pretty empty, I just wonder if someone still on a= nd will respond to me. Following Benedykt question "Declaring an xml document ? 2004-06-12 07:49", I'm having troubles on validating even a simple xml with his schema. the answer from Olivier on Benedykt' previous question "pollo's validatio= n of a wierd schema" helps me to put his patch on noNamespaceSchemaLocation erro= r, but others appeared. Do I have to treat all errors the same way or is there a xml config file = for schemas to update or improve? I need clues to move on. thanks for any help, laurent. |

This shouldn't cause any problem, a non-existing directory will simply be ignored (the entry is there because during development the classes are located in the build directory). What about i18n in pollo 0.4? When I put encoding="ISO-8859-1" into the first <?xml-statement in an xsd I'm able to use it e.g. to generate a new document, as opposed to putting "ISO8859-1" in the same place. When I put encoding="ISO8859-1" into the first <?xml-statement in an xml file I'm able to save it as opposed to putting "ISO-8859-1" in the same place. This seams to me at least as inconsistent. Any idea? However, regardless of what I'm doing in pollo 0.4 I cannot validate document against its schema when the document contains any umlaut. What can I do to have ÄÖÜaöüß etc. in text areas? Anyone knows why? Thanks for any answers. Benedict And this here is what's at the top of the schema file (osisCore.2.0.1.xsd): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xs:schema targetNamespace="http://www.bibletechnologies.net/2003/OSIS/namespace" xmlns="http://www.bibletechnologies.net/2003/OSIS/namespace" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified" xml:lang="en"> <xs:import namespace="http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace" schemaLocation="http://www.w3.org/2001/xml.xsd"/> <xs:annotation> |

It is not a zip file, but a gzipped tar file. You'll need the GNU gzip and tar utilities to extract it, or other tools that support extracting those kind of files. Winzip can do this also. After correctly extracting the file, you'll get a whole bunch of normal text files. >=20 > Can someone please point me the application I need to view the source > code of Pollo? Hi, I recently downloaded the source code of Pollo. After unzipping the = pollo-0.4-src.gz file, I tried to open the file in a standard text = editor. The editor showed some garbled text along with the source code, = thereby making the code difficult to read. Can someone please point me the application I need to view the source = code of Pollo? Also, is the source code for the cocoon plugin provided with the Pollo = source. I intend to make my own plugin but I am not able to find docs = which will help me in this. Are there any documentation for Pollo = available? Any help regarding this will be very much appreciated. Thanks and regards, Ritesh |
