I found the current version to look great, but not be
much use for actually editing XML.

I'd like to be able to hit (say) the enter key to
insert a new element, and then start typing the
element name and some attributes. Clicking on a
selected bar (or dclicking) should also open up a
place to modify the text. Ideally, this would be on
the bar itself.

Attribute text should wrap, so you would have to
handle the bars displaying the elements being unequal
in height.

Cut, copy, and paste.

It might be nice to be able to drag-n-drop elements
from the pallete onto the XML.

Please use line.separator in the output XML fie,
windows notepad won't handle a raw '\n' properly.

If you are working off a schema, it would be nice to
grab the "annotation" for elements and display them in
a tooltip or other popup. Perhaps the tooltip should
display the annotation up to the first '.', with some
other way to see the whole thing. That way, you couls
hover the mouse over an element to see what it is
supposed to be.
