I have read ticket 5 and... i´m not sure, but if you don´t have an Android phone, you could use an Android emulator, such as Nox or Bluestacks.
I'm sorry to tell you that there's nothing I can do atm to fix it. Please refer to ticket #5 to know why.
Also, I would like to say that I have Android 9.0
I´ve found pokemini 0.5.4 and 0.5.4 r2, but they don´t work either
Android version doesn´t work on android pie
Sorry to bring you the bad news but the Android i had no longer works, neither can't affort one atm. Even if i release it for 0.60, without testing on real hardware could be a disaster. ... heck, even with real hardware it was quite a disaster since Android devices hw and sw are so fragmented.
Aaaah, too bad. I came here for this issue - actually, for me it doesn't even safe settings and when I press 'load rom' it crashes the app. I'm guessing it's the same issue with some kind of storage access not functioning right or something like that. So is 0.5.4 the last version for Android? No 0.60 there? I only found out about this emu, or rather the whole console, this week. And even though I'm not even much of a Pokémon fan, I think it's one of the most interesting consoles and emulators out...

The android version is provided as "as-is"... there's a few reports of some phones not working and others do (mine find the path properly and works)... sadly without logs or any more info i cannot track the origin of the issue.
Apple pokemini
🍏 Pokemini ? You mean MacOSX ? The emulator compile there with minor makefile changes.

Don't override CFLAGS in sdl/ and sdl2/
Maybe it's better to create a changelog file for this.
