#66 v. 0.515 crashes on launch using OS10.3

i am running (trying to) poisoned version 0.515 on a mac g4. i had
poisoned for like a week and it worked fine. then it suddenly would
crash on launch. the swirling beachball comes up and stays for like
5 minutes and then it unexpectedly quits or i have to force quit it. i
can't see any of the menus on it either. i have tried throwing it in
the trash and re-downloading it but the same thing happens. any
help would be much appreciated. thanks, ly
