Dear all The DM will work with UNKNOWN scores? This affects light filter operation. My proposition: it only works with known scores - it is easier and more robust. So: If the light filter decides there is not enough information, it will send a CONT request and the heavy filter will take the final decision reporting SCOREs. If the light filter decides there is enough information, it will send the SCOREs. Please take this into consideration asap. Thank you and regards PS. Today I am again having problems with SF CVS. |

Dear Jose, at the moment, if the DM receives an unknown score from a filter tries a decision based on the other results. What is important is: if a filter wants to activate its heavy filter, it must add the 'refer' attribute to the score produced from the light filter (often unknown). I think this is a little mistake, because the values of simplelevel attribute are (only): "unknown", "low", "medium", "high". If the DM receives a score message with "none" simplelevel, the DM will discard it. Could Jose check it? thank you ciao simone |

Dear all, we, Alberto and me, have updated some documentation files on the CVS of Poesia. You will find now a first draft of the Decisor and the PICS Filter under "Documentation". Note that these files are only first drafts and will be updated soon. The documentation of the Decisor has also to be converted into LaTeX. Dear Developers, As agreed in the Workshop Meeting I have placed some documentation for the Language Identifier, English Light Filter and English Heavy Filter in the Documentation directory of the Poesia CVS repository. These are plain text files and are quite simple at the moment, I intend to make an update of the English code next week with the hopefully final version and will ensure the code and documentation are matching. N PS I havn't received a reply from ENIC about my discussion of the Montior caching requirements. If this is going to be implemented then we need to be sure that the implementation is a) possible and b) will meet the necessary requirements. |
