I think the primary feature that we need to consistently try to support is the ability to strip practically
every neat feature off the server, right down to the point that it ceases to function. This should be *easy*
to do, just by choosing *not* to add it into the .ini file.

When we're done, I'd like to be able to implement the server with a *minimal* .ini file, so that it functions
as nothing but a clean text chat server -- no rooms, no mobs, no combat, no nothing but typing that goes
to everyone else logged on. (Yes, that means a default room, but that's transparent to the user, lol...)
Then by just restarting the server with a different .ini to have all the bells and whistles active.

If we design it right from the ground up, the end result will be that our server will be able to do virtually
anything that any other server out there can do, and a whole lot more -- and just as importantly, a whole
lot less. You'll be able to reimplement practically any MU* by adding just the modules you need and
configuring accordingly.

That means that while we might implement a really cool skill-based combat system, someone else would
still be able to build a flat level-based system and plug it into our API instead. Viola! Open Source! =o)
