Hi,

among others I have sebscribed 2 podcasts which contain
local characters (german "Umlaute") in their Name.

One is called "Technikwürze"

Whenever podnova downloads a poscast from that
subscription I get the following error:
"DownloadJob 33966384 'technikwuerze21.mp3' reports: An
error occurred; aborting.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "ipodder\core.pyc", line 370, in run
File "ipodder\history.pyc", line 447, in save_encinfo
File "ipodder\history.pyc", line 23, in mkfilenamekey
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode
character u'\xfc' in position 16: ordinal not in range(128)
"

Download stops at 100%, the file is there, I can listen
to it. The only problem is that podnova thinks, it
should sownload it again and again until i "skip" manually.

I found the same problem, but "invalid" character was in my
path name, "Minhas músicas" that was the "My music"
equivalent on brazilian portuguese, I'd like do ask to
developers to change de character encoding to UTF-8 or
UTF-16 that will solve easily this bug.

Since nothing happened since my post in May I now changed to
    iTunes. It works.
