I am abandoning this project as of now for the following reasons:

- Apple has made it pretty much impossible to use their libraries to access the file system on the iPhone and iPod touch. The workaround that still works for now is to use a dll from a specific earlier version that supports those devices, but isn't protected against third party use. What this means is that for non-technical types, the program is permanently broken. For technical types there are other options available. PodLift 4.0 Beta has been released, with a new interface and up to date support for the latest version of iTunes and of the iPhone and iPod Touch.

PodLift allows users to browse and listen to the tracks and playlists on an iPod or iPhone, and transfer tracks and playlists to iTunes and / or a hard drive.
