I appreciate your work on PocketXpdf!

Using v0.3.1 on a Dell Axim X50 with Windows Mobile
2003 SE version 4.21.1088 (build 14260.2.0.5).

I'm using PocketXPDF to read the old Spiderman comics
instead of Adobe's reader, but would like to turn off
the watermark all together if possible.

BTW, the Adobe reader shows the watermark and covers up
the PDF image, making it useless as for reading these
files.

Thanks!

Can you say wether the watermark uses the PDF 1.6 (Acrobat
    7) watermark feature or is just an object that is inserted
into every page? However, in both cases such an option would
be difficult to implement: Xpdf (which pocketxpdf uses for
parsing and rendering) only supports PDF 1.5, and if the
watermarks are simple objects, these would be hard to
differentiate from other objects on the page and to be
    selectively disabled.

Did you look for PDF utilities you could use to edit your
    files and disable the watermark?

I'm not sure what version the PDF files are, but the files
shipped with Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0.

When I bring up the PDF files using Adobe Reader 2.0 for the
PPC, all I see is the watermark, and the comics are
displayed behind it. So, the watermark must be a separate
    image.

Also, PocketXpdf had a problem one time when I powered the
PPC back on, and the comic was displayed at the top of the
display space, and the watermark was displayed in the middle
    of the display space.

Finally, I don't see the watermarks when displaying the
files using the Adobe Reader for Windows

I haven't looked at any utilities to edit the PDF files and
remove the watermarks because I didn't know there were any.
I'll look for some and give it a try.

When the files are displayed on PocketXpdf, the watermark is
somewhat transparent, and I don't notice it as much anymore.

Thank you for the great program. I sure am enjoying it!
