whatever background color i select in desktop freemind it is white (not default!) after map is saved in Pocket FreeMind.

How do you set the background color of the map? I could not find how to do this in Freemind. I did test changing the background color of the nodes themselves and that works fine in a map saved by Pocket Freemind.

this feature is dropped in beta 9 or some earlier, i'll find it out and post here.

In beta 12 in "Format" menu there was an option to change map background color.

It appears that menu item was in beta 12 but was removed in beta 13. If you attach a sample mindmap with a background color on it I will go ahead and fix PFM so that it won't lose the color.

I know there is "map version=\"0.9.0_Beta_8\"" string but be sure: I created it in beta12! And more: PocketFreemind do not set "white" color, it just removes background_color attribute (as FreeMind 0.9.0 Beta 15 and maybe others).
And about "Fixing": I thing this is good option to set bg color in the map but I will not revert to beta 12 just to get it. So probably this "bug" can be forgotten (deleted?) due to out-of-date nature.

I fixed this anyway, in case Freemind decides to put this feature back in. The way I implemented the fix should prevent any other similar issues if the Freemind project decides to start adding other attributes to the map node. This will be in the 0.3 release.
