#99 FTP Sync question and feedback

Hi, I`m new to PNotes that is a fantastic tool, In my case the FTPSync is very important and here is my interogation or/and sugestion

Here it is
!- I use x Time update. If network problem the app stop and all FTP info (server name) are lost

!- After a automatic update the app need to be restart, not very good

!- Some time i had to make a refresh ater the sync to have the real data

!- IMO all the FTP sync should be transparent to user, may be a warning if it`s unable to reach the server for one day or two.

Hmmmm... How server name could be lost? It is stored in pnftpconfig.xml file in plugin directory. May be if the network problem happens for the very first connection?
The program has to restart if notes stored on FTP are newer than local ones - and this is necessary, otherwise you cannot apply the changes.
I agree that prompt to restart is not a good idea for automatic synchronization, so in next version I will add an option to restart the program without prompt in case of automatic synchronization.

Hi

First thanks for your reply, The lost ftp information arrived in a
particular circumstance. I use my pc with my cell phone as hot spot
for communication, After 1 hrs of non communication the hot spot turn off
and if the app in automatic sync mode try to communicate
with the ftp server and the hot spot is off all the ftp data is lost.

Me again,

Also after sync on a second pc,  like I said before, It ask to restart,

after the restart done the sync is done fine, but I need
to go in the menu and click "Re-Load" all to make my sync note on my
current pc.

I want to let you know that is positive comments
