I have been using pnotes for many, many years, think from version 2 or something, and the reason for this, is that it is simply the best note app for windows over all that time. I only use one laptop and screen, so I am limited by screen real estate but being able to have notes visible over software I am running is cool. I like the new direction that you've taken with the .net version, I wasn't expecting that release, and the ability to create plugins is awesome too. I am prettey happy that pnotes is continuing to evolve, but I have a few nags and requests/ideas that would make it even better than just the best note app for windows.
Firstly, the bits I do like. Is there anyway at the moment to start the app without displaying the splash screen? Unfortunately, it seems ridiculously, large and takes forever to disappear on my computer, in fact I have a general lack lustre performance wth this edition of pnotes.I suspect this is quite possibly the fault of my hardware, unless this version is slightly slower than before.
It could also be an issue where I have hundreds of notes, that probably need sorting and deleting.
Ok, so some suggestions if I may.
With the new plugins that have been written to access cloud sites, could some more options be added to, say for instance, google drive, so that you can choose/create a specific folder to use on there and also the facilty to make backups/sequential backups on there to. That'd be real cool.
The android version would be nice, if anyone is going ot take that on and develop it but I think the killer feture would a plugin that allows pnotes to communicate with evernote and/or google. With the facilty to integrate evernote and pnotes I would never ever fear of losing anything important ever again.
Anyway folks, thanks again for your time and energy to create pnotes, I'll be using it for many years still I hope.

Hi,
1. Since splash screen appears before any database connection is established, there is no option to save the custom settings, e.g. "Do not show splash screen". The good news are that since version 1.4 there are command line switch "-nosplash", which allows to start the program without splash screen.
2. It is not impossible to write the code which will manipulate folders/files on google drive, or skidrive or somewhere else, but I don't think this is the goal of sticky notes app.
3. I don't write for Android (unfortunately) and can tell nothing about this (AFAIK, rich text format is not supported on Android, so notes files of PNotes cannot be used there)
4. I've never worked with evernote and don't know whether there is any open API for it. What do you mean by "communicate with google"? There is plugin for google drive. Do you mean something else?

The principal objective in the work, it's send notes via network. It's possible what "send via network" it's first in menu "Notes" and in menu "Edit area"?. in the future, it's possible change menu orders and add menu elements of other menu.
Equally, it's possible what "new note" option it's available in second position in both menus? or, it's possible with double click or othe metod on a note, create a new (Not Hotkeys, because my users forget...)?
What it's your opinion? Thank you very much

Hi,
1. Option to reorder menus is in the plans for next version, but it is not very easy to implement
2. No. "New Note" will remain as it is, I don't want to create menus medley. Why don't your users just double click on tray icon in order to create new note?
