Hello! Our target news server can contain messages both in koi8-u and utf-8 formats.
This message is in utf-8: http://jug.org.ua/usenet/read.php?server=news.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua&group=ntu-kpi.comp.programming&artnum=38703
Settings: -------------------- Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; delsp=yes; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit --------------------
But next message in this thread contains -------------------- Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=KOI8-U; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit -------------------- ( http://jug.org.ua/usenet/read.php?server=news.ntu-kpi.kiev.ua&group=ntu-kpi.comp.programming&artnum=38706 ) and no cyrillic symbols are displayed correctly.
Can anyone suggest a way to make PNews understand an encoding in the message header.
P.S. One another feauture is to hide any email-address found in page (even in "Show header" section).
And, thanks in advance, your project seems to be the one alive in php nntp readers category. Cheer up!!
