Mambo integration

registered and approved users can upload their own
audio and video with descriptions

website visitors can comment and vote on the media

owners of the media get an email to make them aware of
the comments

System of categorization to drill-down content
navigation (Jazz, Funk, Rock, Blues, etc...)

CMS-wide searchable ID3 tag support (automatic
reading and cataloging of ID3 tags from uploaded MP3s
with database storage in XML format included in
standard CMS site search)

PayPal ecommerce ability for selling of individual
downloads (MP3s, avi, etc) / entire albums (.zip)

Collaboration area where a song can be uploaded, a user
can download it, add to it, then re-upload it into the
same area for review and commenting creating a new
version of the song. This would function much like the
abandoned SongForge app

Module to display "Random Song" link, paid placement
link to song (like a banner manager for media library),
and links to "Most Downloaded" and "Most Recent
Uploaded"

Integrated Event calendar with uploaded media linked
directly to events! If fans could upload pictures, video
and audio recordings of particular shows and comment
on them and have links with icons from a Show Archive
page, that would be a very impressive feature list that
manu of us would be willing to put a decent amount of
money behind. Although I realize that this is far outside
the scope for your original scope, this idea eclipses any
other long-term goals for many musicians.
