For software, literature, or any other type of review
sites, advanced link categories would allow them to
add photos of the books, book reviews, and other
relevant information similar to Amazon.com.
Through the Administration panel, admins should be
able to select any link category or subcategory and
add their own database entries such as publishing
company, date published, image of product, product
review, and so on.
This seems like a simple enough add-on, but more
importantly could be used in a variety of ways for the
phpCommunity: recipe sites, educational sites, gamer
sites and so on.

Agreed! Agreed agreed agreed agreed agreed! And (one more
time!) agreed!
For a reviews that are movie reviews, I personally would
love to see database fields for title, director's name,
year, rating (R, PG, etc.), reviewer's rating (four stars,
whatever), length, and whatever else. Then people could
sort by the highest-rated reviews (that is, the reviews
that are of four-star movies, then three-and-a-half stars,
etc.) or by year or alphabetically by title or whatever.
Please please please someone add this!
Thanks...
