currently it's not possible to modify these settings because their values
affect the system behavior. i.e. when you change the task status
"done", you will not be able to generate bills on the reports page.
I'm currently working on the completly redeigned pmtool2. It will
contain a kind of "eventhandler" technology for status properties and
custom priority levels.
But i have no idea, when i'm done ;)

there are really a lot ;) ...i'm rewriting pmtool completly from scratch.
- the system is splitted up into two parts
"phalanx" is a kind of runtime for database driven php applications.
its a generic framework to host also other php apps.
- contains helper classes for database access
- has an object relational mapper
- provides user accounts, groups and rights for the applications
- manages the session stuff
- makes logging easy
- see: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/pmtool/phalanx/doc/grafx/phalanx_scheme.gif?rev=1.1&view=markup
- is 100% done
"pmtool2" only contains the business logic and runs as a guest
application within phalanx.
pmtool2 has the following new features:
- configuration via xml file
- project dependencies (-> sub projects)
- ability to assign users to projects
-> so only the assigned users can se this project
- tasks can have more than 1 user
- customers can have more than one contact (name, email,
telephon...)
- contact records can be exported as vcards
- project templates -> you can create a project and store this as
preset
- payment tracking for generated bills
- project priorities
- more flexible priorities and states (for tasks and projects)
- more email notifications

Robby, our team plans on using your tool as we update our
site. The site is 580,000 pages. But, we will not be using
the billing feature. There is no need for it. I believe your
project management tool is wonderful. But, if we could
change the tasks type and such, this would make it more
flexible to be used on a variety of projects. You could always
include a warning, "Changing this task name will remove the
ability to calculate fees" or something to that nature.

I totally agree. This tool does rock though.
